EZmenu is operated by HamroX LLC ("we"). This policy explains what we collect when you use ezmenuapp.com and why.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, a password (stored hashed) and an optional business name.
- Your content: menu images you upload, the names you give boards and locations, and which image each board shows.
- Board activity: when a connected TV last checked in, so you can see if it is online.
- Billing: if you buy a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Technical logs: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, time) used for security and to keep the service running.
How we use it
To run the service: show your menus on your TVs, let you sign in, send account emails (confirmation, password reset, billing), and fix problems. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Product emails
Separately from account emails, we send occasional product news and restaurant tips — no more than once a month. You only receive these if you ticked the box asking for them. Creating an account does not sign you up, and we never add addresses that were given to us for another reason.
Every one of those emails carries an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Unsubscribing is permanent unless you ask us to add you back. If an address bounces, or someone marks a message as spam, we stop sending to it for good.
Account emails are not affected by any of this. Alerts when a screen goes dark, password resets and billing receipts are part of the service, and are sent whether or not you want product news.
We record which wording you agreed to and when, so we can show why we hold an address. We do not sell or share these addresses with anyone.
Menu images are public by link
So that TVs can display them without a login, uploaded menu images are served from a long, unguessable address. Anyone with that exact address can view the image. Do not upload images you would not show on a public screen.
Who we share it with
Service providers that host and run EZmenu: Supabase (database, login, file storage), Hostinger (website hosting), Stripe (payments) and Resend (sending email). They process data only on our behalf.
Keeping and deleting data
Your data is kept while your account is active. Delete images and boards anytime from your workspace. To delete your whole account, email us and we will remove it within 30 days.
Cookies and local storage
We use browser storage to keep you signed in and to let a TV remember which board it is. We do not use advertising cookies.
