Connect a Restaurant Menu Board with a Code
Pair a restaurant menu board from your phone using a six-digit code. Choose a shared menu, name the board, and recover from expired codes.
Two ways to connect a TV
The quick way: the TV shows a six-digit code and you enter it on your phone. The permanent way: every menu has its own 10-character code that you can type directly on the TV, which is handy when you set up many TVs for the same menu.
The six-digit code, step by step
On the TV, open ezmenuapp.com/tv. On your phone, open ezmenuapp.com/connect and sign in. Type the six digits, give the board a name, pick its location and the menu, and press Connect. The TV updates within a few seconds and remembers the pairing in its browser.
The permanent menu code
In your workspace, open Menus and press Connect code on a menu. On the TV, choose Connect with menu code, type the 10 characters and the store name. The board is created automatically and counts toward your plan like any other board.
If the code expires
Six-digit codes last five minutes, and the television shows a countdown. Press Try again on the TV to get a fresh one. The permanent menu code never expires.
If the TV shows a code again later
The TV browser lost its saved data, usually after a factory reset or someone clearing the browser. Disconnect the old board in your workspace to free the slot, then connect the TV again with a new code.
